To Be Resilient: We Are Tired
What do you feel when someone calls you resilient? Some of us get that temporary boost of feeling strong, being able to get through a challenge regardless of the adversity, so many things are made to break us down and most of us thankfully survive through it, become stronger, more informed, educated, and use that to power through life. However, there comes a time when we are tired, tired of being “resilient”, tired of feeling the weight on our shoulders and carrying each burden boulder by boulder and then blast through it. Why do we need to be exhausted by our strength? How does support release the burden of resilience? There is so much to say about how as a people, we live through life walking with a badge of resilience, yet people don’t realize how tiresome that is. Join our The Sistahship Network panel and hosts, Marcie Rabinowitz, Tiffanie Romey aka TiffanieRo, Khalima Green aka Lady Kay, and Trish Womack aka Ms. Trish – She is a Jewel, as they will be discussing, “To Be Resilient: We Are Tired”, this Sunday 6/26th at 2 pm est on TheSistahship.com or Gynesis Radio. Listen in as they work through the challenges, the level of progress we’ve obtained through resilience, and how we can manage through life to minimize the need to be resilient.
