June is a month to recognize and commemorate the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, which was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the Unites States. As the years evolved, the LGBTQ+ community continues to do work in the community to gather together to demonstrate for equal rights. This Sunday, June 12th, we invite to The Sistahship Network table, our guests, John Gerkhardt, Jonathan L Hayes, Jessica Brady, Substance Nivens aka Substance & Tiny Bee to speak to their experiences, challenges, and how far they’ve come to date and what’s next? How do we progress forward as one united country regardless of our differences, how do we educate people and expel the rumors and misconceptions of the LGBTQ+ community.
