HOLY BIBLE…THE MODERN-DAY TESTAMENT: Program your mind to be humble.

1. When I was a little girl, my aunt Richie used to say, “DON’T GET TOO BIG FOR YOUR BRITCHES!” 2. These words have and continue to resonate within me and reminds me to always remain humble. 3. Humility is a powerful eXperession of God’s love. 4. I have learned that humility enables us to be our authentic and genuinely loving selves without falling victim to the eXternal forces around us or our own internal self-doubts and fears. 5. These realizations are both humbling and gratifying.
6. As a result of the wisdom God has blessed me with, to date, I have and will forever choose to remain humble rather than surrendering to the insecurities of my ego-self. 7. And will continue to do so for the duration of my journey through this physical realm where life is tenuous, at best, often turbulent at times, but tantalizingly amazing despite the many challenges I encounter. 8. I have learned that things are temporary, but love is eternal and valuable beyond measure… this is a humbling fact that keeps me focused on what is right as well as what matters most in life.
9. I choose eternal life over merely eXisting within the limitations of the physical realm because the choice to “live” with a humble heart and open mind adds immense value to the life I presently live. 10. I am humbled by the knowledge I continuously gain and the love that fills my heart, daily. 11. Although microwave pleasures sometimes produce instant gratification, it is love that produces the permanent resolve and respite my soul needs to keep me soaring to new heights of amazing. 12. It took me years to learn these simple, but humbling lessons and to value them over the whims and wants of the ego’s constant attempts to imprison the essence of my being within the darkness of its solemn and solitary eXistence. 13. Now that some of the most valuable lessons of human life have been permanently etched on the walls of my inner-temple, they constantly remind me of the value of loving God, myself, and others with an eXtremely grateful heart and humble posture.
LIFE-ENRICHING RECOMMENDATION: 14. No matter how great your achievements, possessions, and sense of self-worth are, achieving and maintaining a high degree of humility, when interacting with other members of the human family, will take you a lot farther in life. 15. And, FYI… humility, when partnered with peace, is a powerful happiness producer. 16. Never allow your ego to become so obnoxiously out of control that who you are, what you have achieved, and the value you possess count for little to nothing within the minds and eyes of others. 17. Never forget you are here to serve as a living testament to the goodness, glory, and greatness of God working in you, with you, for you, and through you for the benefit of all life. 18.
