HOLY BIBLE…THE MODERN-DAY TESTAMENT: PART 4… As we grow into and throughout adulthood, it is both important and imperative that we strive to grow closer to the Spirit of God residing within us.
Deborah M. Cofer / Mama C

42. This one power-packed act of faith enables us to be fully prepared for that moment when we are summoned, by God, to serve others. 43. The stronger we are in God, the more power we prove worthy of receiving from God. 44. And the truth be told, without a strong connection to God’s power, we are ineffective at serving, thereby, producing little more than a substandard life for ourselves and others. 45. Whether you understand this or not, the day will come when you are called by God and it will be a day you won’t soon forget because your life will never, again, be the same.
46. I tearfully watched all that I thought I was, all that I had, all I had achieved, and all I had dreamed of being slowly began to vanish. 47. A new me was in the making or shall I say… the real me was emerging and becoming who God created me to be. 48. While some things in life are easily predictable without calling on God, life beyond what is common-sense and elementary is very unpredictable without the power of God working in us and through us. 49. In reality, the eXtraordinary wonders of life elude us without God’s guidance steering our steps.
50. I have learned, during this lifetime, that one of the biggest mistakes we make, as human beings, is believing that God operates in “mysterious ways.” 51. I hear people say this all the time and wonder “what God they are talking about.” 52. But know that anyone who believes that God “works in mysterious ways,” are those who only know of God from what they have been conditioned in church, at home or somewhere in the world to believe. 53. The reality is… they lack an intimate relationship with God. 54. Knowing of God and having an intimate relationship with God are two different things and produce two totally different outcomes.
