East Stroudsburg South, Thank you for not taking the DEI committed away.
When I was asked to share my thoughts on diversity, the first thought that came to my mind was “Diversity eliminates fear and empowers us to live and grow together in peace.” For the purpose of providing clarity, I googled the meaning of the word “diversity,” and found what I think everyone can understand and relate to. “Diversity is the practice or quality of including or involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations, etc. Equality and diversity should be supported for their own sake.” I’m not sure how much more I can add to this meaning other than to say I think the world we live in would be a much better place if only we would all live by the principle of diversity. I think we are all born equal. I hope that one day we all can come together in unity respecting one another’s differences so this world can become a much better place for all of us to live.
