Being a parent is a hard job, especially during these times but, with this job comes many sacrifices, many decisions, sometimes taking on a responsibility of someone else’s child and being the step-parent. Managing the interconnections required to make the relationship easier to maneuver is a task that has no bounds. As we manage through these parent-child relationships there is guilt, questioning your decisions, how open and honest should you be, how much should they know about your past, whether they should be engaged in important household decisions. As a parent, your relationship takes many turns, and go through many times of not knowing what the right thing to do is or what is the right thing to say. Ahhh being a parent is hard so this Sunday, our hosts, Tiffanie Ro, Sherry Knight, aka Lady Wisdom, Jane Gagliardo, aka Spicy, and Trish, aka Ms. Trish, parents of children in different stages of life, will share their experiences, their learnings and their insights on this subject of “Managing Interconnections of Parent-Child Relationships”.
